Slide About Me

Greetings, I’m Toby Howells, a session drummer with over 6 years of experience, both live playing and studio drumming. I've been working mainly within the London-based function and gig scene, performing with some of the best bands all around the UK and internationally.
I love meeting and working with new musicians and artists, and always get excited about playing new music, learning new genres, techniques and sharing my art form with others.
I also have a real passion for composing and playing guitar, bass and piano, and record and play live whenever I get the time and chance!

Slide Sessions
When recording, you can find me working with J3T Drum Tracks and at various recording studios such as the renowned Rockfield studios, J3T Studios, Ten21 Studios plus others. On these sessions, I've recorded for names such as Right Said Fred, Lemar, 8DIO samples and so on.

In my personal studio, I've have a large variety of drum kits & cymbals ,as well as Afro, Latin and Ethnic percussion. From here, I record various projects for artists , producers and songwriters internationally.

On the technical side of things, I use UAD preamps and SE Electronic mics, and i'm well acquainted with Pro Tools and Logic, which I use on a daily basis.
